Arrival and Transfer to Phuentsholling
Our representative will receive You at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB). We will be assisting you with the transfer via Jaigaon to Phuentsholling, border towns between India and Bhutan.
Check into hotel, Explore the local Shopping centers and trades between India and Bhutan in the evening.

Transfer to Thimphu after Permit formalities
After preparing and completing permit formalities – Transfer from Phuentsholling to Thimphu – 180 kilometers – Nearly 6 – 7 hours – The drive is astonishing along the Paro Chu (river). Upon arriving the Paro Chu and Wangchu confluence, the drive is followed along the Wang Chu to Thimphu.

Early morning breakfast – Drive and visit the Memorial Chorten (Stupa) built in memory of the third King of Bhutan who ruled the Kingdom from 1952-1972
Next, the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved, along with Wood Crafts and Painting School – The Handicrafts Emporium where Bhutanese textiles and other arts and crafts are displayed and you can purchase if you like it.
Simtokha Dzong, one of the oldest fortresses in Bhutan built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1629 A.D – Browse through an example of Bhutan’s fine traditional arts. Here you can buy hand-woven textiles, Thangka paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, jewelry, interesting items made from local materials.
– Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day Excursion to Punakha
After breakfast, drive up to Dochu¬la pass (3,088m/ 10,130 ft) stopping briefly here to take in the view and admire the 108 Stupas, prayer walls, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road. If skies are clear, the highest snow capped mountains can be seen giving a dynamic look over the Himalayan Regions. In afternoon visit Punakha Dzong (Fortress) or ‘Palace of Great Happiness or Bliss, built at the junction of the Phochu and Mochu rivers in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal.
Later at evening, drive back to Thimphu

Paro Sight seeing
Morning one hour drive to Paro and hike to reach Taktshang monastery – Tiger’s Nest.
On the way back view Taktsang Monastery perched on the side of a cliff at 900 meters
Visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples – National Museum popularly known to the local Bhutanese as Ta Dzong which is Built as Watch Tower (Ta Dzong) of Paro Dzong and the Valley. It was renovated and converted into National Museum in 1968. Evening stroll around Paro town

Transfer from Paro to Phuentsholling
A drive is nearly 180 kilometers, approximately 6 hours. On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different styles of stupas adorn this confluence – Drive further through Chapcha and later take glimpse of famous Chukha Dam and the magnificent Vince waterfall before Gedu town.

Early morning breakfast – Drive to Siliguri – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB)- 4 hours drive
